Robotics
Define the connection. Consider the movement.
Capture the motion, routing and strain-relief requirements around your robot or automated equipment.
Illustrative application
Robotics & automation
Start with how it moves.
On robots and automated equipment, cables bend, twist and travel every cycle. A static drawing shows where a connection starts and ends. It does not show how the cable moves between those points.
Wire Harness Manufacturer builds custom harnesses and cable assemblies to your specification. The more clearly the motion is described, the more precisely the materials and routing can be agreed.
Motion profile
Describe repeated bending, rotation and travel.
Cable routing
Show bend radius, available space and cable-management constraints.
Connection security
Define retention, strain relief and service access.

What to include
The route matters as much as the endpoint.
Dress packs, cable chains and tool changers all put limits on a cable route. Describe the constraints and the expected duty, and the assembly can be specified for the way your equipment actually moves.
Motion and duty profile
Type of motion, axes involved and expected duty.
Minimum bend radius
Space constraints and the tightest bend on the route.
Torsion requirements
Rotation range and any twisting along the cable.
Cable-chain or dress-pack constraints
Routing, mounting and retention methods you use.
Connector locking and strain relief
Locking style and strain-relief preferences.
Final materials, construction and checks depend on the agreed application requirements.
FAQ
Before we build.
Common questions about robotics & automation wire harness projects.
Can a motion requirement be inferred from a drawing?
A static drawing is only part of the brief. Include movement, travel, rotation and expected duty so the requirement is written down rather than assumed.
What are your lead times?
Samples take 3–4 weeks. Mass production takes 4–5 weeks. Both are confirmed against your agreed specification when we quote.
Can we sign an NDA and request inspection reports?
Yes. Contact us to arrange an NDA before you share confidential drawings. Production inspection reports are available on request, so include your reporting requirements in the brief.
